The Enterprise Business Development Representative (EBDR) will serve as the liaison between our Marketing, Inside sales and Area Sales VPs.  The role will seek new enterprise business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers to boost sales and contribute to the long-term business growth.  The EBDR will use strong communication skills to cultivate valuable relationships with customers through the process from first contact until the deal is closed and ensure proper after-sales service.

 This position will be a salaried role with a commission structure and Zinwave will reimburse applicable travel expenses based on Zinwave standard practices and policy.  Please note that relocation costs will not be offered for this role.  If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a positive team environment, we’d like to meet you!


Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Contact potential clients through various mediums including cold calls, emails, and in person meetings
  • Understand Zinwave offerings and client needs to offer the best solutions and highest level of support
  • Customize product solutions to address client needs, concerns, and objectives and increase customer satisfaction
  • Organize and participate in meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Area Vice Presidents and report on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
  • Meet or exceed established quotas
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to provide insight and feedback from potential customers regarding the market and Zinwave’s offerings and sales process
  • Other projects and/or duties as needed

Skills & Experience Required:
  • High school diploma required, college degree preferred, must have at least five years strong outside sales experience to be considered for this role
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Experience developing enterprise leads from marketing campaigns
  • Goal oriented and customer focused with ability to persuade and influence others
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software and familiarity with MS Excel to analyse spreadsheets and charts
  • Self-motivated and self-directed with ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills; the ability to immediately connect and interact with potential customers
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to immediately connect and interact with potential customers
  • Ability to work well independently or as an active member of a team
  • Tenacity to handle rejection and continue with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client
  • Required travel at least 50%
  • Must have valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
