Brad Kitterman is an experienced CEO with the ability to envision new products and markets and drive growth strategies. Brad has a diverse background with 30 years of experience leading organizations and developing technology based solutions to solve customer problems in the utility and building materials industries.
Previously, as President of Aclara, he led one of the industry’s leading smart grid technology companies providing device networking, data analytics, and customer communications to water, gas and electric utilities globally. He has led as President or CEO a diverse set of businesses over the past fifteen years including the North American division of Asahi Glass Company, U.S. Pipe & Foundry, and LogicaCMG’s North America Energy & Utilities division. In each role, he combined visionary leadership with a strong background in operations and technical development to drive organizations to new levels of performance.
He began his career with DuPont as design engineer in several areas including biomedical equipment, robotics, and digital imaging. He later moved to the Electricity Metering Division of Schlumberger and rose through the ranks of engineering management to eventually head the North American Engineering Group. In 1998, Brad was promoted to President of Schlumberger’s North America Utilities Division. Under Brad’s leadership, revenues doubled from $300M to $600M in four years through both internal growth and acquisitions, such as Cellnet Data Systems and Convergent Group.
Brad currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Technology Association of Georgia Smart Energy Society and is active in promoting clean technology, energy efficiency, and conservation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Auburn University.
