Christopher Spray
Atlas Venture, Non-Executive Director
Christopher Spray is a Venture Partner in the technology group focusing on software and internet-related businesses.
He established Atlas Venture's Boston office in 1986 and was responsible for US operations until 1998 when he moved to the firm’s London office.
Christopher began his venture capital career in 1983 when he joined the firm now known as CINVen, a leading European private equity firm, and subsequently moved to the US in 1985 as Investment Director of CIN Investment Company.
He has been an investor and board member in number of successful companies, including OnDisplay, which was acquired by Vignette Corp. (NASDAQ: VIGN), and RightPoint Software, which was acquired by e.Piphany (NASDAQ: EPNY). He also served on the board of Business Objects from 1992 to 1994.
He currently serves on the Boards of Atlas portfolio companies KDS, Kalido, MOO print, NTRglobal, Zinwave and picoChip.
He has an MBA from INSEAD and a BA in English Literature from Oxford University.
