Neil Butterfield

Director of Operations

Neil Joined Zinwave in September 2008. A graduate in Computer Science and Electronics, Neil has over 25 years experience in the electronics industry. He started his career at GEC Marconi as a hardware designer working on thermal imaging weapon guidance systems for major defence contracts. At Amstrad Plc, Neil managed the introduction of several consumer computer products into the retail market and gained valuable experience working with manufacturers and suppliers in south east Asia.

While Operations Manager at Adaptive Broadband (now Axxcelera), Neil managed the new product introduction of their AB-Access range of UNII, WLL and MMDS Fixed Wireless Access products.

Most recently, Neil served with Cambridge Broadband Networks where he was responsible for developing a local configuration facility to support low volume, high mix production of their FDD wireless products.
