Andy Bell

Andy is responsible for all aspects of product development and the Engineering team at Zinwave aswell as architecture design and system verification of all optical DAS products.

Before joining Zinwave he managed the System design for Samsung's first in-house 3G mobile phone chipset as well as Samsung Electronic Research Institute's research projects. Prior to this he was Programme Manager for NEC's dual-mode (GSM/UMTS) mobile phone developments which were the first 3G phones available in Europe. During this time he was also responsible for NEC Technologies' contributions to the UK ACTS research projects and their standardisation activities which included a period as the Vice-Chairman of the ETSI WCDMA standardisation committee, SMG2a.

He obtained his BSc from Bath University in 1989 and became a Chartered Engineer with GEC-Marconi.
