Prof. Alwyn Seeds

Alwyn Seeds is Professor of Optoelectronics in the University of London and Head of the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at University College London. He has published over 250 papers on microwave and opto-electronic devices and their systems applications and has been elected a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering (UK) and an IEEE Fellow (USA) for his work on microwave photonics, including the development of wireless over fibre systems. He has served on the programme committees for many international conferences and is Vice-President for Technical Affairs of the IEEE Lasers and Electro-optics Society (USA).
