Gary Grimes

Gary Grimes joined Zinwave in January 2008 and has been in the military and commercial communications business for over 25 years with experience in every area from fundamental engineering and product development to sales, program management and operations. He was a key figure in the development of the first analog RF over fibre products for cable TV, satellite and mobile wireless communications at Ortel Corporation. He was founder and President of Gwydion LLC where he developed a line of fibre optic in-building distributed antenna systems in cooperation with the major industry OEMs and carriers. These products are still being deployed in Europe and Asia. He was Vice President of Operations for the In-Building Coverage Products groups for the Repeater Technologies and Remec. He has continued to develop extended coverage products, markets and business in mobile wireless and is an established member of the North American commercial and public safety wireless communication communities. He brings years of expertise to lead the Zinwave US operations. He holds a Masters degree in Physics and a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
