Dr. Ian McEwan

Ian has been Chief Financial Officer of Zinwave since November 2006 and has responsibility for all aspects of Finance, Operations, Human Resources and Administration.

Ian has led Finance teams in several UK and US businesses. At ProQuest Information and Learning, part of NYSE listed ProQuest, Ian was responsible for the Finance operation in twenty countries worldwide. At Zeus Technology a high tech start-up, Ian led US and UK operations and previously Ian led Strategy and Business process projects in various European countries with a leading Technology Consulting Business. Ian started his career with Unilever where during his ten years he progressed to be a Chartered Management Accountant (Fellow). He held a variety of roles across various businesses before being based in the Netherlands on the management team of a global $200 million turnover Speciality Chemicals Business.

Ian holds a B.Eng (Hons)in Engineering, a PhD in Computer Aided Design and during his PhD he studied in Japan on an international student scholarship programme.
